Steak Recipes-Easy Marinade Recipe


Grilled steaks some like a perfect choice for dinner, not sure if they need help. This is an easy marinade recipe to make your grilling and steak recipes an winner every time.


This is good recipe to marinade steaks for as long as a day ahead of time depending on the quality of your cut (or if you are not marinating I usually just use this on the grill each time I turn) Turn your steaks every 2-3 minutes Brush them generously with basting sauce and then re-season with a low salt steak spice after basting. This will help concentrate your flavors. Your marinade will have all the salt necessary.


The basting marinade adds some good flavor as your steaks grill and the smoke and spices permeate your meat cuts.


When cooking value cuts such as chuck steak, boneless short ribs, round steaks etc, you can marinade them for up to 2 days before cooking.


For steaks and chops (I keep a shaker of coarse natural sugar) sprinkle on steaks along with the steak seasoning each time you turn. This will get you some good charred flavor.


You can add it to the marinade recipe below, but it will cause your meat to burn prematurely if you marinade your meat with sugars or oils; so I left it out, I normally use it at the grill.


New York Strips, Rib Eyes, sirloin steak, flat iron steaks and T-bones will only require a couple of hours in advance.


I do not recommend marinating Tenderloin steaks; they are normally fork tender and need little effort to be good, you can baste them with this marinade as they grill.


Chicken and pork only about 1/2 hour of marinating, they tend to soak it up very quickly.


1/2 cut Worcestershire sauce


1/4 cup balsamic vinegar


1/2 lemon juiced


1 teaspoon onion powder


1/4 teaspoon curry powder


1/4 teaspoon cumin


1/4 teaspoon black pepper


1/2 teaspoon garlic powder


1/4 teaspoon thyme leaves


Whisk it all together and pour over your steaks, refrigerate for desired length of marinade, use reserve to baste steaks on the grill.


Remove steaks from refrigerator approx 11/2 hour before grilling to allow them to get close to room temperature before grilling, grill your perfect delicious steaks and enjoy-Blessings
