For summertime grilling and specifically with the 4th of July right around the corner, many of us naturally reach for pricy steaks--rib-eyes, filet mignons--but they aren't the only cuts in the case. Thin steaks, like flank, skirt or flatiron are perfect candidates for marinades. I have tried a few cuts for this marinade, but the best and tastiest for this specific marinade is flank.

Instructions

Mix oil, vinegar, Worcestershire Sauce and soy sauces, mustard and garlic powder, pour into a gallon-size zipper-lock bag, add steak and let marinade for at least 30 minutes or up to 3 hours. (I have found 3 hours is optimal if you can for the marinade to really take effect).
Heat gas grill, lightening all burners on high for at least 10 minutes or build a hot charcoal fire. Add steak, close lid and grill, turning only once to desired doneness, 3 1/2 minutes per side for medium rare and about 4 minutes per side for medium.
Let rest for 5 minutes.
Slice thin and serve.
A Side Note...

On a side note, my husband and I have bought and tried many different marinades and none of them have even come close to this marinade for Flank Steak we happened to just stumble upon. I hope you try it and love it as much as our family does. One last thing, Happy Grilling!!!
