The Best Diet Plan Party-Style: Buffalo Wings Without the Big Butt

Whether you're hosting a football game party or a backyard BBQ, you can never go wrong with providing some tasty buffalo wings. This recipe is a crowd pleaser and your guests won't even know that it is good for them too. Don't be surprised if someone asks you for the recipe—they won't believe it's a healthy option!

This bar favorite is usually deep fried in batter and loaded with blue cheese dressing. Give this alternative a try for a healthier spin!

1 lb skinless chicken wings
1 TBSP cayenne pepper
1 TSP red pepper flakes (crushed)
1 TSP Celtic Sea Salt
1/2 C. hot sauce (choose your favorite brand/flavor)
1 TBSP butter

Fill a large pot half way with water and then add the first 4 ingredients. Bring water and wings to a boil and continue to boil for 15 minutes. Coat an oven safe container with butter and transfer wings into it. Broil for 15 minutes on each side. (For crispier wings, cook for 5 minutes longer on each side) While wings are broiling, combine the hot sauce and butter in a small pot and cook over low flame until melted. When wings are done, shake them up in a sealed plastic bag and serve.  

Your Party on a Diet Plan for Weight Loss: Wow your Pals with this Turkey Chili 

Another favorite at parties is chili, but you don't have to serve up the kind that is high in saturated fat and laden with chemically processed cheese. Instead try serving this diet-friendly turkey chili, and watch as your guests fall in love with the robust flavor and yet shocked at the healthy proponents of its ingredients.

1 lb. ground turkey (organic and free roaming if available)
1 small onion, chopped finely

1 14.5-ounce can kidney beans, un-drained
1 28-ounce can diced tomatoes, un-drained
1 16-ounce can tomato sauce
1 4.5 ounce can of chopped chilies, drained
1 14.5 ounce Can of black beans, un-drained
1 14.5-ounce can chickpeas, un-drained
1-2 TBSP chili powder, to taste

Cook turkey and onion in a medium fry pan over medium-high heat using coconut oil. Scramble until no longer pink. Drain off fat and transfer cooked meat and onion to crock-pot. Add all remaining ingredients and mix well. Cook on high for 6 to 8 hours.
